Our final drive 5.0:1 obtains an overall shortened transmission (from gear 1 to 6) and prepares your Elise/Exige/2-Eleven for enhanced agility and sportiness. Though engine output remains unaltered, the shorter ratio increases your car’s performance noticeably.
The already overly long standard transmission suffers from stability problems at final drive ratio as well. (Just the fewest of drivers are in need of 265 kph of theoretical top speed.)

JUBU Performans crown wheels and pinion shaft feature twice vacuum melted special aircraft steel and an elaborate surface treatment – the tooth flanks are cut, the surface is shot-blasted and superfinished.
The short axle ratio copes with up to 450 Nm of torque, just like our other gearbox parts.
